Hey Guys,

Sorry I’ve been posting so sporadically recently. Life has been pretty crazy here, between classes and friends and the whole about-to-graduate thing.

So here’s what I’ve been up to:

I’ve been baking

from celebrating the coming of spring with berry/lemon cakes

to top secret projects

“the world doesn’t deserve someone as wonderful as you” cupcakes

to a 15 pound monstrosity for a charity cake auction.

I’ve been taking exams with my AP classes(RIP) and trying to remember all the requirements of AP bio

I’ve been spending time with my friends

Sometimes at school events

we’ve had two “last dances”

I’ve spent too much time texting

and taken too many pictures(not that either will stop anytime soon)

I’ve celebrated the end of AP exams

Because the burgers at our burger place in town are hands-down the absolute best.

IMG_5133

I’ve hung out in the sun on days probably too windy/chilly to hang out in the sun

IMG_5140

gone on picnics

and celebrated birthdays

IMG_5112

so many birthdays

I got to see my exchange partner from 2 years ago again, which was amazing

And celebrated mother’s day

Really, I’ve just been living. It’s strange. My school has always been so busy, so to have a lull like this, and to be able to spend time like this, I am so thankful. I’ve been able to spend time with the people I love before the impending graduation and goodbye.

Thank you for being patient with me.

Welcome! I'm Laetitia, and you can find me in the kitchen covered in flour, perusing used bookstores with a cup of coffee, studying, or planning my next adventure. Currently, I'm living in London, have a MSc in biological anthropology and archaeology, and am actively re-learning how to live a joyful life after struggling through the isolation during the pandemic. I keep track of the things that bring me joy here, on this little blog! Make yourself at home here in my little corner of the internet, and I hope you too are able to find a little joy in the ordinary.
